The project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 624 linear feet of existing asbestos cement sewer pipe with the installation of new Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining including all preparation work such as cleaning and CCTV inspection. The project also includes removal and replacement of 25 linear feet of sewer mains replacement, one (1) manhole rehabilitation and all site restoration required. Prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the job site prior to submission of BID, to familiarize themselves with site conditions. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
