Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 163,825-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The project involves the construction of a new two-story Recreational Centre with a total area of 15,169 m2. This facility will replace the existing Parkinson Recreation Centre and will be located at 1800 Parkinson Way, Kelowna, BC V1Y 4P9. Outdoor Amenities: The 19.4-hectare site will feature: Sports fields Courts Plazas Playgrounds Walking and cycling paths Additionally, a new site entrance from Burtch Road and expanded parking facilities are included in the scope of work. Bird Construction Group is pleased to announce the release of Tender Package 2C (TP2C) for the new Parkinson Recreational Centre project.
