General Contract to replace the existing split case high service pumps at the Osceola water treatment plant. A portion of the ductile iron pipes ,fittings, and gate valves will also be removed and replaced. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Owner encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements .Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Osceola, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
