Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of: o Preparation of base & installation of base courses & foundations o Installation of engineered wood fiber playground surfacing & edging (engineered wood fiber to be provided by owner and installed by contractor) o Installation of poured rubber playground surfacing and edging o Installation of play sand and edging o Installation of playground equipment (Equipment to be provided by owner + installed by contractor) o Installation of chain link fencing o Demolition and site preparation will be performed by the owners forces General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Town of Oak Bluffs. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price is a project requirement. The work is estimated to cost $90,511.00. The Authority reserves the right to waive any and all informalities if it were in the public best interest to do so.
