The City of Coral Gables is soliciting bids for Citywide Drainage Improvements via IFB 2025-008. The City is seeking to retain the services of a qualified General Contractor and/or Miami-Dade County Certified Engineering Contractor for the purpose of general Q And A Close Friday, June 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM .The City is seeking to retain the services of a qualified General Contractor and/or Miami-Dade County Certified Engineering Contractor for the purpose of general construction and drainage improvements including but not limited to: drainage improvements and milling and resurfacing of bituminous paving at various locations within the City of Coral Gables on an as needed basis. The contractor must be readily available to provide the services outlined in this solicitation, in accordance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) policies, procedures, and directives; Federal law, regulations, and executive orders; and State / Local law and regulations The work consists of but is not limited to drainage systems, miscellaneous stormwater improvements, and milling and resurfacing of bituminous paving, at various locations within the City of Coral Gables on an as needed basis as described in the Specifications and Standard Technical Details (Exhibit A), and future plans for each assigned task associated with this project. The scope of work in this contract includes but is not limited to all costs incurred in furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and labor for each item listed. Labor and equipment rates for potential change orders, in the event that a pay item may not be included in the original item list. The following outlines in general, but not limited to, the types of service requests that the Contractor may be required to provide under this contract: o Construction of drainage systems and/or relocation of existing drainage systems at different rightof-way locations Citywide o Installation of erosion control, clearing and grubbing, and earthwork. o Reconstruction and/or resurfacing of flexible and rigid pavement sections, including flexible and rigid surface driveways o Construction of sidewalks and curbs and gutters o Installation of brick pavers o Signing and pavement markings o New Construction projects and coordination of work with other trades. Contractor will be required to work from drawings o Basic cleaning of structures prior to investigation
