Renovation of a municipal facility in Marion, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project includes removing existing shingles on the primary roof of the barn building installing ice and winter guard on rake and eve, installing synthetic roofing paper on the rest of the roof, and installing Sentry Shake metal roofing system with interlocking drip edge and rake trim in addition to installation of metal siding on the building. Questions Due Date: Jun 26th 2025, 12:00 PM EDT Questions Online Portal A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Union Township, negotiable US Government Bonds (at par value), or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid of construction shall be submitted with each bid. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The roof work will include removing existing shingles on the primary roof, identifying and replacing all damaged or rotted roof decking, installing ice and winter guard on rake and eve, and installing synthetic roofing paper on the rest of the roof. Installing Sentry Shake metal roofing system with interlocking drip edge and rake trim. Hip and ridge caps will match shake and will be locked in at peak along with ridge vent roll, all anchor strips will be properly secured. Any rotted fascia and rake boards are to be replaced to ensure all eve starters are perfectly straight for proper installation of the shingles. All eaves and rakes face boards are to be flashed with proper matching metal. All wood trim on the building will be painted as part of the base bid. The contractor will be responsible for proper removal of all debris.
