The Sylvan Road Bridge deck is approximately 60 feet in length and the improvement consist of bridge deck resurfacing, associated maintenance work, and ancillary repairs to the existing structure. All work is in the existing right-of-way. Answers to questions will be provided in writing and will be shared with all other known plan holders. Questions must be submitted by June 30, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Answers will be provided on or before July 2, 2025. This improvement consists of bridge deck resurfacing, associated maintenance work, and ancillary repairs to the existing structure. All work is in the existing right-of-way. The work to be performed under the base bid of this Contract generally consists of the following work tasks: 1. Removal of the existing concrete bridge deck (and sidewalk) surface and replacement with a latexmodified concrete overlay. 2. Removal and replacement of the bituminous transition pavement surface on the east and west sides of the bridge. 3. Removal and replacement of the concrete approach sidewalks on the east and west sides of the bridge. 4. Isolated curb and gutter replacement. 5. Repair deteriorated concrete on the existing concrete structures. 6. Apply a concrete sealer to existing concrete structures including the main span bridge deck and railings. 7. Provide all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Contract Plans and described herein.
