Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
Replacement of Air Handling Unit (AHU) #1, Two MTW Pumps and Heat Exchanger in Mandeville Auditorium. The scope includes conversion from pneumatic to electric temperature controls. Alternate bid for the replacement of AHU #5. Estimated project duration is 460 calendar days. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: C-20: Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
