The City of Burlingame wishes to establish a contractual relationship to provide annual boiler maintenance services for four City locations. The length of the contract is three (3) years, with two (2) one-year renewal options at the election of the City. The City reserves the right to award multiple contracts in order to meet its operational needs. Bid(10.0%), Performance(0.0%), Payment(100.0%) Pre bid meeting : no. • Provide an annual cleaning and inspection of the boilers. • Open and inspect the water and firesides and reclose using new gasketing. • Open, inspect, and test all safety components including the low water cutouts. • Inspect all refractory and insulation. • Check and set combustion. • Provide a written report outlining all findings and any further work required. Other Details Contractors must meet the following requirements: • Contractor must be able to meet all requirements in the attached sample agreement, if awarded the contract. (See Exhibit A) • Must have an active C-4 contractor’s license (Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting) issued by the California Contractors State License Board. • Must be located within 50 mile radius of Burlingame, California. • The contractor must pay prevailing wages and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. • Must meet the insurance and licensing requirements outlined in the City of Burlingame Contractor Requirements. A business license from the City of Burlingame is required. • An annual inspection report is to be provided to the Facilities & Fleet Division Manager.
