Type of Award Lump Sum The Contractor shall possess a Class A license with HAZ certification prior to submitting a bid. No contractors and subcontractor may be listed on the bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.5(a)]. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement). All contractors and subcontractors will be required to submit a California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliance statement with the bid proposal.
