Project calls for a proposal to provide all planning, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the construction project DBEH 15-1579, Repair Fire Detection System, B54800 per the statement of work, drawings and specifications (attachments 1, 2, and 3). Provide all planning, labor, and supervision necessary to provide the removal of existing Fire Alarm system AND the installation, testing and commissioning of new, replacement Fire Alarm system and wet pipe fire suppression conversion that meets current code requirements. 90% Design Drawings and Specifications are provided with this initial DRAFT RFP. A follow-on RFP with the 100% Design Drawings and Specifications will be issued once they are fully developed later this fiscal year. Included in this FOPR request are the 90% Plans and Specifications. A FOPR Amendment will be issued on or around 7 July 2025 with the 100% Plans and Specifications. The site visit and questions period will be conducted prior to the 100% Plans and Specifications beings released. Once the final plans and specifications are released, contractors will have two weeks to review, ask follow up questions during a time specified in the FOPR amendment, and submit proposals on or before the due date.
