Reference Number 0000296030 The Contractor is required to provide all the equipment, tools, material and labor to execute the complete cleaning of Aeration tank number four (4) located at the Robert O. Pickard Environmental (800 Green Creek Drive). The work shall include, but is not limited to removing the slurry of grit and sludge from all areas within the tank. The walls and floor shall be pressured washed utilizing effluent water supplied by the City. The diffusers and associated piping shall be thoroughly sprayed clean. The contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring that no damage occurs to the diffusers during the cleaning process. The Contractor shall remove all liquid and solid contents from the aeration tank, remove grit (95% removal of solids greater than or equal to 105 micron or Tyler Screen Mesh 150) with a cyclone grit separator, silt sack or enviro-bag or equivalent system. The solids removed shall be transported and disposed at a disposal facility that is approved by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP). The remaining liquid phase is to be returned to an adjacent aeration tank identified by the City's agent. The Work shall commence upon a mutually agreeable start date and shall be completed no later than 15 August 2025. The City may accept any bid, whether it is the lowest or not, or may reject any or all bids.
