This project involves the design and construction of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Olde Towne Avenue and S. Summit Avenue. This project is currently planned for design in FY26 and Construction anticipated in FY28, subject to final engineering. The City had a traffic engineering consultant perform a study to determine if the traffic meets requirements for a new traffic signal. The evaluation determined that the traffic signal is warranted at this location. As of June 18, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
