The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required for the demolition of one roll up door and upgrade manual chain mechanism to electric motor ran openers for the Hobby shop building on USCG Base Portsmouth, 4000 Coast Guard Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23703 per the attached Statement of Work. The lowest priced quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability, if it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance the contractor shall commence work NLT five (5) days after notice to proceed and work diligently to complete the entire work ready for use by 10 working days after contract award or as negotiated during the preconstruction / award meeting.
