Meneghetti, Purchasing Agent, either by facsimile at (856) 405-4605 or by email at Purchasing0ffice@vinelandcity.org Last day for questions is noon Wednesday, July 2, 2025 This specification is for all of the engineering, supply, and installation of (1) 1500kW Diesel Generator, (1) Automatic Transfer Switch, complete diesel fuel system, all associated interconnecting cabling, control cabling, and field testing. This specification will also include the supply of recommended spare parts, necessary training for day to day operations. It will also include a 2-year warranty detailed in the warranty (section 15) of this specification. This Project will be completed at The Vineland City Hall Building, where semi-critical services will need to be maintained during a main source power outage. i. City Hall Address: 640 E. Wood St., Vineland, NJ 08360 The building is currently fed from a 13.2kV primary circuit. VMEU will provide a new source of power from its own utility feed. VMEU will provide the transformer and all connections to the primary wires, along with the riser and all associated terminations. The contractor will be responsible for the generator pad and all secondary connections into the automatic transfer switch, which will be mounted next to the generator. The work to be performed and included under this contract consists of furnishing all engineering, permitting, construction, construction management, demolition, site preparation, new materials, equipment, supplies, labor, transportation, testing, fuel/power, and performing all work as required by the contract in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules, drawings, and Contractor's proposal and approved submittals to supply a fully operational automatic transfer generator. Any demolished equipment is expected to be scrapped where possible and used as a credit toward the final proposal price. The work shall be complete in accordance with the Contract Documents, and all work, materials and services not expressly called for in the specifications, or specifically indicated on the drawings, which may be necessary for complete and proper construction to carry out this contract in good faith shall be performed, furnished and installed by the Contractor at no additional cost to Vineland Municipal Electric Utility (VMEU). Qualified, careful and experienced workers shall execute the contractor's work in the best and most workmanlike manner. All components, apparatus, materials, supplies, etc., used in the construction of this generator project shall be factory new
