Supply of all materials, plant, and labour required to complete the installation of wooden flooring on the gym floor at John Taylor Collegiate, 470 Hamilton Ave. Work is to be done in accordance with drawings and the specifications herein and the manufacturer's written instructions. Work includes but is not restricted to: 1. Supply of all materials, paint and labour required to replace the gym floor (approx. 6,580 sq. ft.). 2. Remove and dispose of existing hardwood gymnasium floor and rubber base. 3. Prepare existing concrete pad for complete gypcrete topping. 4. Supply & install new Field Turf Tarkett Performance System. 5. Supply & install 2 1/4" x 3/4", 2nd grade MFMA and CLA approved maple finished flooring. 6. Sand floor for smooth even surface. 7. Supply & install 4" x 3" vented rubber base and new transition plates at all doorways as required. 8. Replace twelve (12) existing floor sockets. 9. Painting of sport, game lines as indicated in drawing. 10. Apply two (2) coats of Bona Sport Seal urethane sealer and two (2) coats of Bona Supersport MVP water based finish. 11. Supply and install new floor sockets as per drawings and specifications. 12. Cutting down of doors to suit thickness of new flooring is by others and as required. Contractor is to co-ordinate this work so that any doors requiring modification are scheduled by other parties so they don't extend the completion schedule or affect the finish floor in any manner.
