The provisions of Article 104.02 of the Standard Specifications are hereby amended as follows: "Village of Round Lake Beach expressly reserves the right to remove from the project any roads or portions thereof included in the FYE 2026 Road Maintenance Program. Such reductions, if any, shall be made in writing by the Village prior to execution of the Contract Documents. Any reduction in the scope of work required by the Village prior to the execution of the Contract Documents shall not result in an adjustment to the contact or to the unit prices originally bid. Bid secu rity in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier'sCheck, or Certi fied Check in the amount of FIVE (5)percent of the total bid amount, made payable to theVillage of Round Lake Beach shall accom pany the bid. The Village reserves the right to reject any and allbids and bidders and to waive all tech ni cal i ties. Thisproject includes two bid sched ules, one base bid andone alter nate bid; all bidder's shall complete bothsched ules. The Village reserves the right to award anycombi na tion of the bid sched ules. Factors other thanprice which will be consid ered in award ing or rejecting bids shall include the results of refer ence contacts,and the qual ity of the bidder's perfor mance on priorVillage projects, if any, in the judg ment of the VillageBoard and Village staff.
