Lake Front Park Concrete Pad Improvements State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor pre-Qualification/Registration is required. This project will include, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Concrete block wall and gate removal and disposal, concrete pad replacement, concrete curb with post installation, wood fence with metal post and gate installation, and restoration. This work is subject to the wage provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. 820 ILCS 130/0/01 et seq. and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act. 820 ILCS 265/1 et seq relative to prevailing wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any Public Works as amended by Public Acts 86799 and 86693. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in the amount of TEN (10) percent of the total bid amount, made payable to the Village of Round Lake Beach shall accompany the bid. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities. This project includes two bid schedules, one base bid and one alternate bid; all bidder's shall complete both schedules. The Village reserves the right to award any combination of the bid schedules. Factors other than price which will be considered in awarding or rejecting bids shall include the results of reference contacts, and the quality of the bidder's performance on prior Village projects, if any, in the judgment of the Village Board and Village staff. All bids submit ted shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days.
