Renovation of a mixed-use development in S Zanesville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
General Construction: Selective demolition, masonry infill, installation of doors, finishes, and lay- in ceilings. Coordination of demountable wall installation with Owner's vendor. Fire Protection Work: Modifications to existing head locations. Plumbing Work: extending domestic water and sanitary lines to new sink locations. HVAC Work: Replace existing air handler with new; install new ductwork, diffusers, and controls. Electrical Work: Install new lighting, outlets and devices. Install new circuits to connect to new HVAC equipment. Technology Work: Install new outlets, devices, and wifi routers; cabling connecting to existing tech room. Location- 968 Pine Street Zanesville, Ohio 43701 A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. The Project consists of the alteration of approximately 1,300 square feet of locker room area into clinic area, including selective demolition, general interior construction, finishes, new plumbing work, and electrical and technology improvements, and mechanical improvements. Mechanical work included the replacement of HVAC equipment located on a mezzanine adjacent to the area of construction. To access this mezzanine for equipment removal and installation, an opening will be cut in the masonry wall between the mezzanine and existing gymnasium. This opening will be made permanent for future work with the installation of a rolling door. Construction within the suite will include the replacement of several doors as well as some new doors. The majority of interior partitions will be demountable walls - the supplier of the walls will be directly contracted with the Owner. The general contractor is required to coordinate with the supplier. The project is a signature project for the Owner and construction of the highest quality facility is vitally important in this respect, each contractor assumes a position of trust confidence in the performance of its duties to the Owner and shall perform its work on the project with the highest degree of competence, diligence, cooperation and workmanship. Owners desired start date: August 1, 2025 Owners desired completion date: December 31, 2025
