Description: Contracts consist of work related to the hardscape, landscape, and parking lot improvements. Required Completion Date: Project Completion November 2025. All contracts and subcontracts performing Work on the Project must comply with the provisions ofthe Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), including, without limitation, providing for the payment ofthe prevailing rate ofwage to all laborers, workmen and mechanics engaged in the Work. A10% bid bond is required. The Huntley Park District hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure, that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Contractor agrees to be bound to the terms of its bid fora period of Sixty (60) calendar days after the Bid Opening Date. The project manager, to the bestof his abilities, shall answer such questions in writing and provide a copy of the written questionsand answers to all interested bidders via email. Neither the Huntley Park District nor the design consultants shall be directly contacted. If contracts are awarded, the successful bidder will be required to post performance, labor, and material payment bonds. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, including, as mentioned above, the Prevailing Wage Act as well as the Illinois Human Rights Act.
