As of July 2, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 15, 2025. This work shall consist of crack sealing on various City of Woodstock roads and parking lots. A list of streets will be provided after the contract is awarded. Proposal Guarantee: Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond for not less than 5% of the amount bid, or as provided in the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, Check Sheet LRS7. Contract Bond: A contract bond shall not be required for this project by the City of Woodstock. Location of Crack Sealing: Various roads throughout the City of Woodstock. A list of roads and their respective limits will be provided after contract award. The City of Woodstock may add or subtract from the location list as directed by the engineer during the life of this contract. County or Municipality. When prequalification is required and the awarding authority for contract construction work is the County Board of a County, the Council, the City Council, or the President and Board of Trustees of a city, village, or town, each prospective bidder, in evidence of competence, shall furnish the awarding authority as a prerequisite to the release of proposal forms by the awarding authority, a certified or photostatic copy of a "Certificate of Eligibility" issued by the Department of Transportation, in accordance with the Department's "Prequalification Manual". The City of Woodstock may add or subtract from the location list as directed by the engineer during the life of this contract. The completion date for this project shall be August 29,2025. Revise Article 108.05 (c) of the Standard Specifications as follows: When a completion date plus guaranteed working days is specified, the Contractor shall complete all contract items and safely open all roadways (including shoulders) to traffic by; Completion date - August 29, 2025. 100% of the project shall be completed. The Contractor will be allowed to complete all clean-up work, punch list items, and landscaping within 10 guaranteed working days after the completion date for opening the roadway to traffic. Under extenuating circumstances, the Engineer may direct that certain items of work, not affecting the safe opening of the roadway to traffic, may be completed within the guaranteed working days allowed for cleanup work and punch list items. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material/Deliver and Install Proposals.
