This project will provide for a traffic signal and left turn lane at the intersection of Sycolin Road and Gateway Drive. A Signal Justification Report (SJR) was conducted that determined the most appropriate intersection design for this location is a traffic signal with a left turn lane. The traffic signal will facilitate gaps in the heavy left turn movements into Gateway Drive and increase safety for all turning vehicles. The project will also add a crosswalk across Sycolin Road increasing walkability and pedestrian safety, thus supporting the Town's sustainability goals. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 29, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
