The awarding of the proposal will take place at the WISD public school board meeting. The Weslaco ISD School Board reserves the right to accept, reject any and/or all proposals, waive minor technicalities, or to award the proposal to the most responsible offeror which best serves the interest of, and provides the best value to, the District. Throughout the school year, various "small projects" are approved for district facilities. Such small projects include but not limited to: o Roofing repairs o Cement/sidewalk repairs o Flooring/tile, carpet, repair and installation o Fencing repairs and installation o Canopy repairs and installation o Landscaping-grass planting, tree trimming (including palm trees), sprinkler system repairs o Painting o Paving Repairs The selected vendor/contractor shall coordinate with Weslaco ISD (Owner) for design/layout requirements and specifications. The vendor/contractor shall be responsible to obtain all permits required as well as complying with all applicable codes from all agencies having jurisdiction for a complete project. Weslaco ISD has over twenty (20) campuses and numerous buildings that require maintenance and upkeep along with other minor projects. All projects will be located at school district facilities.
