Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hanover Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A. This work shall consist of the complete removal of all items called for in the plans and specifications or as otherwise implied in a safe and orderly manner creating as little disturbance as possible. B. All areas indicated for construction of any kind shall be cleared of any debris, undergrowth, weeds, stumps, roots, and marked trees which might interfere with the progress of that work. Unmarked trees or any plant material indicated to be saved by the Owner or Owner's Representative shall be given special protection as specified. All inquiries, outside of the pre-bid meeting (if one is held), that concern the bid request shall be submitted in writing to Upland Design Ltd. via email to info@uplandDesign.com and LDafoe@uplandDesign.com. Work gener ally includes asphalt paving, earthwork,and lawn restora tion. Specifications require the submit tal of a 10% BidSurety with the proposal. In addi tion, the successfulcontractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insur ance following theaward of a contract. All contracts for work herein are subject to all ParkDistrict rules and regu la tions, and providing for thepayment of DuPage County's prevail ing wage rate toall work ers involved in this Project. All bids willremain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. TheHanover Park Park District reserves the right toreject any or all bids, to waive infor mal i ties on a bid,and to accept all or any portion of any bid, and/or toaward the contract for the West Harbor Park TrailReno va tion Improve ments Project to the lowestrespon si ble and respon sive bid meet ing specificationsthat serves the best inter ests of the Park District.
