The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract for roofing replacement services to the State of New Hampshire with services indicated in the SCOPE OF SERVICES and OFFER sections of this bid invitation, in accordance with the requirements of this bid invitation and any resulting contract. The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Dam Bureau (DES-DAM Bureau), owns and operates the Connecticut Coos Project (Murphy Dam) located at 11 Murphy Dam Road in Pittsburg, NH. The DES-DAM BUREAU is soliciting proposals to repair the roof decking as needed and replace the asphalt roof for the Dam Tender Residence building on the Murphy Dam grounds as described herein and Attachments 1 and 2. The roof has been inspected, and the results of this inspection are included in Attachment 3. The project should be completed as soon after contract approval as conditions and scheduling allow, but no later than the end of calendar year 2025. The term of the contract shall commence on August 27, 2025, or upon approval of the Governor and Executive Council, whichever is later, through August 26, 2026, a period of approximately one (1) year. The contract may be extended for up to an additional two (2) years thereafter under the same terms, conditions, and pricing structure upon the mutual agreement between the successful Vendor and the State with the approval of the Governor and Executive Council. In accordance with the attached plans and specifications the contractor shall replace the roof at the DES-DAM BUREAU Murphy Dam Tender Residence including, but not limited to, the following: o Compliance with attached plans and specifications and all applicable state, local and federal laws and rules governing the work. o Remove existing asphalt and metal roofing down to existing roof decking. o The DES-DAM BUREAU shall select the color of the asphalt roofing. o The existing rooftop penetrations shall be properly flashed with new membrane and terminated, as required. o All deteriorated roof deck and timber members will be removed and replaced as outlined in the General Demolition Notes and attached plans and specifications. o Install roofing in accordance with attached plans and specifications. o Selected roofing installation shall be complete in all respects to form a watertight system meeting all product, installation and application specifications, codes, and regulations. o All materials and debris shall be removed and properly disposed off site and work site restored to preconstruction conditions. Shipping papers, disposal receipts and manifests shall be returned to the DES-DAM BUREAU. o Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and permits as necessary and required to perform services as described herein. o Vendor shall provide material safety data sheets with the delivery of any and all products covered by RSA 277-A, the "Worker's Right to Know Act."
