The contract for Refuse and recyclables collection, transport, and processing will be for a Unit Fee for the weekly curbside collection of Refuse including one bulky item, single stream recyclables on the same day as Refuse, and curbside leaf waste (commonly referred to as "yard waste", excluding grass clippings). There are currently 3,947 units according to current billing records. The Borough seeks a Unit Fee for: Weekly curbside refuse collection; Contractor will provide Cart sizes to all Customers (Exhibit 5) Weekly curbside single stream recycling collection; Contractor will provide Cart sizes to all Customers (Exhibit 5) Weekly Yard Waste collection (March through December). Contractor will provide Cart sizes to all Customers (Exhibit 5) Weekly Yard Waste collection (March through December). Customer provides bags and/or containers for collection Municipal Collection Services: 15 locations with dumpster service for waste, recycling, and cardboard (Exhibit 3) and roll-off container service for street and inlet cleaning materials Note: Customer billing will be performed by the Borough, not the Contractor Included in the Unit Fee for Contractor-provided cart collection, the Borough seeks price schedules for the collection of Municipal Services. Bids must be submitted upon forms furnished in this bid package, sealed and plainly marked "Bid for Contract Refuse and Recyclables Collection, Transport, and Processing." All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of $100,000. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the municipality.
