Site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 25,000-square-foot, one-story above grade swimming pool; for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.
Project Description: Project includes construction of a new 25,000 SF competition swimming pool and support facilities. Bid Release 1 included fabrication of the architectural precast panels which has been awarded to MPC Enterprises. Bid Release 2 includes the remaining packages. Building construction includes concrete, masonry, steel, membrane roof, brick cladding, storefront, finishes, swimming pool, fire sprinklers, mechanical, electrical, sitework, aggregate piers, and fencing. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities, informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Amount or Cashier's Check for a sum no less than 10% of the bid including all alternates. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers and waive any irregularities at their discretion.
