Subconsulting company shall be a State of Illinois registered professional engineering company qualified to provide professional engineering services by the Illinois registered professional engineers to Fehr Graham for the engineering scope of services related to the construction of the collection system improvements portion of the project noted below: The construction documents will be made available to the subconsultant 60 days prior to issuance of the notice to proceed to the general contractor, covering approximately 200 hours of subconsulting engineering services. o Construction administration and guidance, including coordination with general contractor, shop drawings reviews, pay request reviews, assist prime engineer with typical construction phase documentation, such as field orders, work change directives, change orders, substantial completion certifications, record drawings, etc., and attend routine onsite progress meetings with Owner, Fehr Graham, and general contractor's representatives, all for approximate total 900 hours of sub consulting engineering services to be performed on an intermittent basis throughout the planned construction period between years 2026 through 2030. Onsite engineering Resident Project Representative (RPR) services for construction observation by or under the direct supervision of subconsultant's Illinois registered professional engineers, including preparation of field reports, review of contractor's submittals and contractor's progress pay request quantities, and other typical construction documents, maintain record prints of contract documents, and attend routine onsite progress meetings with Owner, Fehr Graham and general contractor's representatives, all for approximate total of 2,200 hours of engineering RPR services to be performed on an intermittent basis throughout the planned construction period between years 2026 through 2030. Prior experience with the City of Ottawa's municipal infrastructure projects, as well as familiarity with the project sites, details, and general locality, will be given preference. The Owner reserves the right to make the final decision and take the necessary action regarding the outcome of this subconsulting opportunity. All interested disadvantaged businesses qualified to provide the above engineering subconsulting services must submit a proposal, including their hourly billing rates. The billing rates shall be inclusive of all incidental expenses, such as the subconsultant's per diem, mileage, lodging, and travel.
