Site work for a civil project in Jurupa Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.

This project consists of removing and replacing the existing gas line with a new gas line and service to the existing Buildings on site. This includes the tie-ins and cutovers to supply gas to all the buildings noted on the plans. In addition to this, the scope includes and the concrete, asphalt and landscaping demo for access to install the gas piping. Includes replacing all concrete, asphalt and landscaping damaged or removed for access to install the gas line. This project will be occurring on an active High School campus where work will need to be phased, traffic control established to work throughout the site, areas trenched plated or barricaded for student and site staff safety. The most important part of this project is the existing gas service / system must remain operational to the campus / site as well as the pool complex. Shutdowns or cutovers can only occur during off hours, weekends or planned campus breaks. The project is planned to have an approximate duration from September 2025 thru late December 2025. The DISTRICT shall not be responsible for sending individual notification of changes or updates to any respondents. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to remain apprised of changes to this bid. BID BOND: Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter the proposed contract, including all required Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the DISTRICT; or (2) a bond made payable to the DISTRICT in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Any bond must have been issued by a Californiaadmitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. BID FORMS: Bids must be submitted on DISTRICT bid forms. No other forms will be accepted. BID PROCESS: The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. Except as provided in Public Contract Code Section 5100 et sq., no Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the opening of the bids. PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS: The successful Bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The forms of the bond are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. PREVAILING WAGES: The successful Bidder and each of its subcontractors of any tier will be required to pay not less than the general prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract ("Prevailing Wages"). A copy of the per-diem rates of Prevailing Wages is available on the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") website and a copy shall be posted at the Project site by Bidder. Pursuant to Labor Code Sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all CONTRACTORS and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter a contract to perform public work, must be registered with the DIR. No bid will be accepted, nor any contract entered without proof of the contractor's and subcontractor's current registration with the DIR to perform public work. If awarded a contract, the Bidder, and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain registrations with the DIR for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. In bidding on this Project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. DVBE: Where applicable, Bidders must meet the requirements set forth in Public Contract Code Section 10115 et seq., Military and Veterans Code Section 999 et seq. and California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 1896.60 et seq. regarding Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise ("DVBE") Programs. Bidders may contact the DISTRICT for details regarding the DISTRICT'S DVBE participation goals and requirements.
