Receive inspection requests, test forms, and plan approval documents along with any corresponding amendments through Division of Public Health (DPH) Plumbing Program managers in Kent and Sussex Counties utilizing the current Delaware Plumbing Code. o Conduct inspections on commercial, residential, home permitted facilities in Kent and Sussex counties. The inspection passes or fails are indicated on DPH inspection stickers along with dates, inspector initials, and permit numbers. o Inspection requests come in the form of a permit application via e-mail and the plumbing inspector indicates pass/fail, date, and sticker number on the application form and then returns the completed form via e-mail to DPH within 48 hours. o Conduct follow-up coordination with the permit holder on failed inspections, including detailed guidance for corrective actions. o Ensure inspections are conducted in a timely manner within three business days, per state of Delaware plumbing code, minimizing delays for permit holders. o Provide regular feedback and recommendations to the DPH Plumbing Program to improve operational processes. o Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, and detailed notes, in a centralized electronic database. o Convey any questions, complaints, or issues associated with inspections to a DPH program manager in Kent or Sussex Counties. o Participate in periodic training and updates provided by DPH to stay informed on changes to plumbing codes and best practices.
