the Listed Project Contract 1- hwy 99 Fiber Installation City of Athens Utilities Athens, Alabama Request for Pre-qualification: Only Contractors Who Have Been Approved to Bid Pursuant to Pre-qual-fication Procedures and Criteria Established by the Owner Will Be Eligible to Bid the Project. All Potential Bidders Shall Contact the Engineer to Request Pre-qualification Proce-dures and Criteria. Email Request to Hrussell@athens-utilities.com. The Engineer Will Not Accept Telephone Inquiries. Contractors Submitting for Pre-qualification Shall Only Sub-mit for Their Primary Trade of Work. Contractor Shall Have the Capabil-ities and Certifications to Perform Overhead Fiber Optic Cable Installation in the Power/energized Space. Contractor Shall Have the Experi-ence and Past Experience on Sim-ilar Contracts. Capabilities With Re-spect to Personnel, Equipment, and Construction Facilities. Financial Status and Ability to Provide Need-ed Capital Funding. Pre-qualified Bidders Are Invited to Submit Sealed Bids on Contract 1- Hwy 99 Fiber Installation. This is a Labor Only Contract Priced by Culmination of Labor Prices for Line Crossings 1 Through 31. The Project Consists of New Installations of 72 & 144 Count Adss Optical Fi-ber as Well as the Corresponding Pole Attachment Hardware. Project Begins at Pole 1 Located at the in-tersection of Lucas Ferry Rd. And W. Market St. Located in Athens, Al and Continues for an Estimated 14.4 Miles.
