Reference Number 0000391159 The City of Littleton is requesting bids for Santa Fe & Mineral roadway intersection improvements. Work includes removal of the left turn movements from the Santa Fe Dr and Mineral Ave intersection, widening along Santa Fe Dr, and new lane assignments for Santa Fe Dr and Mineral Ave. This roadway construction project is Federally-funded through Transportation Improvement Program ("TIP") grants, and is located on the CDOT and National Highway System (On-System). Work includes removal of the left turn movements from the Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue intersection, widening along Santa Fe Drive, and new lane assignments for Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue. The project is primarily located at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue, within Littleton's boundaries. Improvements include reconstructing the existing intersection to produce a quadrant road intersection. As described in Attachment E, Plans & Specifications, the contractor will perform soil grading, placement of a concrete box culvert, curb, gutter, sidewalk and concrete flatwork, paving operations, storm sewer installation, traffic signal improvements, fiber installation, and final landscaping. The quadrant road is Platte River Parkway and Nichols Avenue with a new roundabout intersection, and a box culvert installation is included under Platte River Parkway. A new signalized intersection at Santa Fe Drive and the Nichols Avenue is also included in the work. Work shall be completed within 400 working days of receiving the Notice to Proceed from the City.
