Site work and new construction of a military facility in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a 48,343-square-foot military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

The Oklahoma Military Department is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a readiness center in Shawnee. The project scope will require the team to design and construct all aspects of the new readiness center. Options will include FFE, telecom and AV systems. Design-Builders should understand that any subcontractors not identified in the statement of qualifications must be competitively bid in accordance with State law. Key trades will include structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, fire protection, telecom and AV, and FFE. Interested Design-Build Teams are invited to request an electronic copy of the RFQ by emailing a statement of interest to ShawneeRC@.jones-design-studio.com. To submit a response to the RFQ, Design Build teams must be registered with the State of Oklahoma at least seven (7) days prior to the deadline. Non registered design builders should email cap@omes.ok.gov for the instructions on registering. Subcontractors and trade contractors, whether considered design build or not, are encouraged to solicit area Design Builders to be a part of the design build team(s) submitting proposals. A list of Design Builders registered with the State may be obtained by contacting OMES at cap@omes.ok.gov or (405) 521-2565 if the posted list from online is not current. Attached is the preliminary solicitation schedule which is subject to change. The readiness center will be approximately 48,343 gross square-feet with a cost ceiling limitation of approximately $25 million. Project award is anticipated to be January 2026 with an estimated project duration of 18 months.
