Furnish and apply Spray-On Lining pipe rehabilitation services on one (1) specific structure for VDOT Culpeper District Structure & Bridge Section on Rt. 607 - Lillard Ford Road in Madison County, VA . Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed in writing to Rosalie Alther at Rosalie.Alther@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025. This is a pipelining project in accordance with VDOT Special Provision SP 302 (Pipe Rehabilitation) Method B, Category D. At this location is a single Line of 128" width X 83" height steel arch pipe by 62 ft. long. The New Spay-On-Liner shall be no more than 2" thick. A cofferdam shall be installed, and the water shall be pumped around the structure during installation. All work shall be done in the dry and shall remain in the dry till all in-stream work is completed. Voids under the existing pipe shall be repaired by approved flowable backfill or grout. Drainage is 1.30 Sq. Miles. No trees to be cut on this project. This work shall consist of the rehabilitation of existing storm water, surface water pipe culverts, and sanitary sewer lines by the method or methods specified at the designated locations described in the Contract in accordance with the requirements of this provision and as directed by the Engineer. All references to the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications herein refer to the specific version in use by VDOT Structure and Bridge Division at the time of submittal.
