Question Deadline 07/10/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Please submit questions via email to David Richards, itdirector@southbury-ct.gov and Dan Colton, financedirector@southbury-ct.gov Respondents must present their notice of intent to submit a proposal to Dan Colton, financedirector@southbury-ct.gov by 2:00 pm, on July 9, 2025 to ensure receipt of all addendums and other project documents. Dan Colton, financedirector@southburyct.gov, will issue Addendums to this RFP based on submitted technical questions, along with changes to the proposal schedule, via email. Selection Process: Depending on the number and quality of the proposals received, Town of Southbury reserves the right to either select a vendor or shortlist up to three companies. Shortlisted companies will be asked to meet with the Town of Southbury to present their proposal to the decision makers and answer any outstanding questions. Vendor must be able to start work within 30 days of bid opening and completed within 30 days of start. The Town of Southbury is replacing all equipment damaged due to flooding. 1. Replace all equipment listed below and configure for live operation. 2. Reopen the Library with all services up and running. Three (3) POE 48 port network switches. One (1) 48 port POE Network switch for VOIP services. (All ports will need POE) Eight (8) wireless Access Points. One (1) Wireless Access Point controller One (1) Firewall (Sonicwall preferred) Two (2) UPS units for equipment specified with room for growth. All wiring required to interconnect the above equipment to the CEN router/switch and each other. The goal of this RFP is to select a vendor who can provide and install, and configure the above equipment with the assistance of our MSP. There are currently five (5) VLAN's configured. With the exception of the firewall, no equipment will require a monthly or yearly fee to operate. The Town of Southbury is seeking sealed bids to replace switching at 100 Poverty Road, Southbury. It is the intent of the Town to enter into a contractual agreement with one qualified Contractor to provide services.
