In general, the major work items include: Miscellaneous sewer and storm drain collection system repairs, treated effluent distribution system repairs, and on call emergency services on an as-needed basis. Work may include repair of pressurized and unpressurized pipe systems ranging in size from 8-inch to 30-Inch diameter, manhole installation and replacements, sanitary service lateral repairs and replacements, surface restoration, bypass pumping, leak detection, confined space entry, traffic control, and other associated work as outlined in the contract, plans, and specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works. Only those bidders who have registered as a vendor and are included in and appear on the prospective bidders list may submit a bid.
