This habitat restoration, project in Pierce County, WA involves deconstruction and disposal of 865 linear feet of bulkhead to restore natural marine shoreline. This project will include removal and disposal of concrete bulkheads and debris from the marine shoreline; excavation and grading; placement of beach nourishment material and large wood; and installation of native plantings, landscaping materials, and temporary irrigation. Site access may be by barge, by land, or a combination.
