Site work for a water / sewer project in Gahanna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of excavation and removals required for the installation of the necessary clay cap flood protection along the west side of the Creekside Development Site, as well as streambank restoration and erosion control measures. The Manger at Risk will be required to provide the following services: constructability and sustainability review comments on documents produced by the Engineer of Record during the Design Development, Construction Document and Conformance stages; develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; develop and administer the Communications Plan, lead and manage the Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Prevailing Wage, Construction and Closeout Stage. CM Preconstruction Services Start 12 / 25 Construction Stage Notice to Proceed 06 / 26 Substantial Completion of all Work 11 / 27 CM Services Completed 11 / 28 the question cut off period will conclude at 5:00 p.m. EST on July 15, 2025 All questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Engineering@gahanna.gov Professional design services have been acquired by the City of Gahanna under a separate contract. Fishbeck is the Engineer of Record ("EoR"). The project generally consists of: -Excavation & removals required for the installation of the necessary clay cap flood protection along the west side of the Creekside Development Site as well as streambank restoration and erosion control measures -Provide for and strengthen erosion control measures along the Big Walnut Creek in the vicinity -Reconstruct trail and landscaping between the Creekside Development and streambank -Modify and reconstruct the lower lagoon between the pedestrian bridge and the streambank -Reinforcement of the pump room walls - Seal and plug penetrations in the exterior foundation walls within the parking garage below the design flood elevation - Relocate or install protective measures for mechanical ventilation openings that are currently below the design flood elevation - Infill and modify some of the door openings in the parking garage exterior walls - Install pressure relief holes and pipe in lower-level garage floor slab - Refurbish all existing temporary flood protection assemblies (aluminum stop-logs) that are to remain - Strengthen temporary flood protection assembly supports - Procure new temporary flood protection assemblies and install all required permanent support structures and anchorages - Install backflow devices on sewers - Construction new pump room and relocate domestic and fire water booster pumps above the design flood elevation - Relocate natural gas service meter and entrance above the design flood elevation - Construct new diesel fuel tank room above the design flood elevation, connect new tank and pump to existing supply piping, and remove existing fuel tank -Demolish and reconstruct the south pedestrian bridge ramp and stair including plaza waterproofing and pavers. -Demolish and replace the stage concrete slab -Miscellaneous flood impact mitigation and site improvements -Bid Alternate - Demolish the stage structure and cantilevered plaza slab below and adjacent to it. Reconstruct plaza edge including waterproofing and pavers and install tiered stone retaining walls. -Bid Alternate - Construct south ramp and stair between upper plaza and creek path -Install electric vehicle charging stations - Remove and replace upper plaza paver bricks and waterproofing system. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner's policies and procedures.
