Gahanna-Jefferson City School District Board of Education (the "Owner"), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications ("SOQs") from qualified individuals or firms to provide qualified individuals or firms to provide Design Professional Services for its Blacklick Athletic Complex Improvements and Fuel Tank Replacement Project (the "Project"). The Owner reserves the right to add additional scope and services if further improvements are identified and funds are available. The Owner anticipates that it will use a general contractor for the construction of the Project and statutory competitive bidding as required by law. Question Deadline 07/24/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Qualifications received may be retained in a file maintained by the Owner for design professional qualifications, unless the firm specifically requests not to be included in this file. The file may be used for projects or design needs for which design fees are estimated to be less than $50,000. Each firm is requested to provide annual updates to the qualifications to keep them current. The Owner reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in any SOQ received or to eliminate any firm that submits an incomplete or inadequate SOQ or that is not responsive to the requirements of this RFQ. Add Desc(The Project is anticipated to include a preliminary evaluation, design, and construction administration for: 1. Improvements at the Blacklick Athletic Complex ("BLA") located at 6540 Havens Corners Road, Blacklick, Ohio 43004. The Owner anticipates that the improvements will include the following: i. New Multi-Use Athletic Facility; ii. New Tennis Restrooms & Storage Building; iii. New Soccer Restrooms & Storage Building; iv. Parking Lot Completion; and v. Reynoldsburg New Albany Road Connector. 2. Fuel Tank Replacement at the GJPS Transportation located at 782 Science Blvd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 - The existing fuel tank needs to be replaced with a new fuel tank to provide both diesel and gasoline for District operations. 3. Other miscellaneous improvements determined by the Owner through the design process and availability of funds. During the RFQ phase, firms may visit the Project site from the general public's perspective. ) All questions concerning this RFQ shall be directed in writing via email to Business Operations at Business by 5:00 p.m., 7 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. Questions will be reviewed, and the District will determine whether any addenda should be issued as a result of any pertinent or substantive inquiries.
