The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) is a public entity tasked with providing high quality, safe and affordable housing in Washington County. HAWC manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties that include single-family homes and multi-family apartment communities. Services under this contract include On-Call glass repair and replacement services on properties owned and managed by HAWC. Question Submission Deadline: July 11, 2025, 5:00pm The Contractor shall provide glass replacement services at properties owned and managed by HAWC. The services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Replacement of sealed double-pane insulated windows or patio doors with like-kind and types. b Replacing broken glass. c. Building window and patio door screens. d. Repair/replacement of door and window hardware. Replacement of shower doors: a. Safe and proper removal and/or installation of shower glass doors. b. Install new doors as per manufacturer's guidelines and safety standards. c. Ensure that doors are correctly balanced and aligned. d. Test the functionality of the new doors and components. e. Dispose of old glass doors and materials in an environmentally responsible manner. f. The Contractor shall clean up the workspace, ensuring no debris or tools are left behind. Door style and size will be included with the quote and be approved by HAWC staff or assigned designee prior to installation. The estimated expense for this contract will be $40,000.00. ORS 701.026 and ORS 671.530 require that bidders be licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board prior to the submission of a bid. Respondents are responsible for checking the site for any addenda to the quote documents before submitting their quotes to the site. The County may reject any quote not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotes upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Respondents are solely responsible for ensuring receipt of their quote by the Procurement Division. Respondents must conform to the requirements of these quote documents and all related, applicable laws. The County does not intend to pre-qualify any respondents for this project. All quotes submitted for this project will be considered provided that they meet the criteria set forth in the quote documents with respect to submission in a timely manner, bonding, and all other applicable requirements. Washington County reserves the right to modify this timeline at the County's discretion without notice. The County may reject any quote not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotes upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County.
