Site work for a development in Forest Grove, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.

The work generally consists of providing all timber harvest services, equipment, necessary tools, materials, fuel, personnel, supervision, and labor required to complete the preparation and placement as specified in the bid documents: To harvest all of the merchantable timber designated and to be marked on 109 total acres, standing and being upon those certain lands known as the Forest Grove Watershed, portions of Sections 22, 23, and 26 in Township 1N, Range 5W, Washington County, State of Oregon. The selected contractor(s) must demonstrate the ability to provide a majority of the services required and clearly identify those services which will need to be provided by a subcontractor. Bids must contain: A residency statement as defined in ORS 279C.365. Provide a written statement on bidder own form (e.g. company signed letter/head). No bid bond required. Bids may be rejected by the City for non-compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, or for good cause, upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring actual receipt of the bid by the City of Forest Grove at the place and time designated. Bidders must conform to the requirements of these bid documents and related, applicable laws. Bidders shall be solely responsible to check for and download all addenda, if any, from the City digital website prior to bidding. Contractor, its subcontractors, if any, and all employers working under the Contract are subject to employers under the Oregon Workers' Compensation Law and shall comply with ORS 656.017, which requires them to provide workers' compensation coverage for all their subject workers. Bidders must sign all Bid Forms, and in doing so, agree to comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 276a "Workers on Public Works to be Paid Not Less Than Prevailing Rate of Wage." Contractor and all subcontractors must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (in compliance with ORS 701.055) and/or the Landscape Contractors Board (in compliance with ORS 671) prior to bid opening. Bidders must complete and submit, in a sealed envelope, the First-tier Subcontractors Disclosure Form provided in the bid documents, no later than two working hours after the bid are due, per ORS 00120.40(f). Licensing per ORS 468A.720 (working with asbestos) is not required for this project. All vendors must accept the terms included with this Request for Bid as part of the contract. Questions must be submitted in writing.
