Summary SLDC seeks the services of such a Project Manager with experience in natural disaster recovery efforts in urbanized areas to provide professional and technical support to SLDC; assist in the management of the recovery and rebuilding efforts; coordinate with other local, State and Federal agencies; coordinate with stakeholders and community-based organizations; establish and coordinate programs and initiatives with City departments and agencies; coordinate community engagement and other outreach activities. The Consultant will assist SLDC and the City with short, medium, and long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts as directed by SLDC's CEO. The Consultant will report directly to the CEO or the CEO's designee. The primary duties will relate to business and economic recovery, although other recovery efforts, including housing and infrastructure initiatives, as determined by the CEO may be assigned. The Consultant's duties generally include serving as a technical advisor to SLDC's CEO, coordinating efforts with Federal, State, and local agencies, collaborating with City departments and agencies and other regional economic development organizations, and developing programs and initiatives as assigned. Respondents should make and retain a copy of its proposal. Proposals sent by email will not be considered. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
