Renovation of a military facility in Oak Harbor, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

REQUIREMENT: 1. Project will require CAT2 CM oversight, to monitor progress of the contract through Code 400 at PSNS. 2. Code 400 POC will provide a detailed SOW for this project, as well as Testing and QA/QC support from the stakeholder’s side. 3. Project will require Asset Management Support for DASN development, in a timeframe that matches up with Code 400 procurement process 4. Project will require Asset Management Support 1391 Development. Customer has provided 1391 for AM review and is located in the V-drive Project Folder. 5. This project may require an E2 record for tracking purposes. SCOPE: 1. Inspect, repair and preserve, Spare Caisson 1. The Caisson will undergo preservation of interior and exterior surfaces, replacement of all zinc anodes, resurfacing of decks, overhaul and or replacement of the main dewatering pumps and motors, discharge valves and both trim tank pumps and motors. Accomplishes the mandatory ten-year dry-docking and inspection of the caisson 2. The Delta Dry Dock, Spare Caisson-1 is due for the ten-year inspection and overhaul during FY2023. Steel gauging readings must be taken every five years as mandated by MIL-STD 1625D. Based on audit inspections, the recoating of all ballast and trim tank interior and exterior surfaces is warranted on the steel caisson. A detailed inspection during blasting and painting may reveal that some minor structural repairs are also warranted. Loss due to corrosion in excess of 25% of the original thickness must be repaire ... As of July 15, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
