Bid/Proposal 25-042 Runway 13-31 Pavement markings repainting project. Furnish all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the job. Item/Description Guidance relating to airfield markings is contained in the following: o FAA Advisory Circular 150/5340-1M, Standards for Airport Markings (or latest Circular) o FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-10H, Standards Specification for Construction of Airports (or latest Circular) o Item P-620 Runway and Taxiway Painting Markings that need painting: Threshold, Touchdowns, Aiming, and Runway Designators. White reflective paint 70,378 ft Black non-reflective paint 10,232 ft One surface painted sign Standard size for 50 ft taxiway with red, white, and black outline. Surface cleaning 80,610 ft The City reserves the right to accept, reject, cancel or modify any bid or proposal, waive all formalities, and to award the bid most advantageous to the City. In accordance with House Bill 1295, for certain contracts entered on or after January 1, 2016, the successful bidder must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) at the time the signed contract is submitted to the CITY. The law applies (with a few exceptions) only to a City contract between a business entity and a governmental entity or state agency that either (1) requires an action or vote by the City Council before the contract may be signed or (2) has a value of at least $1 million.
