Description: The Project includes the following Work: A new multiuse trail, open-air shelter, ADA accessible fishing pier, kayak launch, two fishing nodes, playground, and parking. The site improvements include general preparation with site excavation and grading and shoreline reinforcement and erosion control within the project area. The improvements also include benches, asphalt and concrete paths, landscaping, site lighting and park signage. The anticipated Milestone A substantial completion date is November 21, 2025 and shall include all work including excavation, grading, concrete, asphalt, all site amenities excluding final turf restoration, kayak launch and pier installation and project closeout. Milestone B substantial completion is May 22, 2026 and shall include all remaining work as shown on the Contract Drawings and specifications. Final completion date is June 5, 2026. Additional Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
