The Boldt Company has been selected as the Construction Manager by Florence County to administer the Florence County EMS Stations Project. Bidders shall be submitting a lump sum proposal of which will be evaluated and awarded to the lowest most responsible and complete proposal The bidding phase will be divided into two separate bid periods. Bid Phase 1 consisting of earthwork, structural concrete, mechanical (design-build), and electrical (design-build). The Project consists of two (2) new EMS stations located in Aurora and Tipler/Long Lake, as well as an addition and remodel of the existing Florence EMS station. The new facilities in Aurora and Tipler/Long Lake will be approx. 4,000 SF and designed to support emergency medical services with vehicle storage staff dormitones, administrative offices and support spaces. The Project includes full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The addition in Florence will be approx 3500 SF and designed to support emergency medical services with vehicle storage, staff dormitories, administrative offices, and support spaces The Project includes full architectural structural mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sprinkler systems Remodel scope will be the reconfiguration of existing ambulance bays and minor interior upgrades to existing infrastructure Florence County reserves the right to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete, irregular or to waive informalities or irregularities in the bid received.
