Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Florence, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Scope of Work The successful contractor shall provide all work necessary to complete the project, including but not limited to the following: A. Demolition and Removal 1. Remove and dispose of all existing basement flooring materials, including adhesives and related flooring components. 2. Remove all debris generated by the work and legally dispose of materials off- site. 3. Protect adjacent finishes, walls, doors, equipment, and occupied areas from damage during construction. B. Furniture and Equipment Relocation 1. Provide all labor and equipment necessary to move existing furniture, shelving, and movable equipment as required to perform the work. 2. Coordinate relocation activities with the Owner. 3. Return all furniture and equipment to its original location upon completion of the project.C. Concrete Floor Preparation and Repair 1. Grind the entire concrete floor surface as required to remove remaining adhesives, coatings, contaminants, and surface irregularities. 2. Perform all necessary floor repairs, including: Crack repair Joint repair Spall repair Surface patching Leveling of entrance area height of surrounding floor Leveling of minor floor imperfections 3. Contractor shall inspect existing conditions and include all anticipated repair work necessary to provide a sound, uniform finished surface. D. Polished Concrete Flooring System 1. Mechanically grind and polish existing concrete floors to achieve a consistent appearance. 2. Apply densifier/hardener as recommended by the manufacturer. 3. Provide a polished concrete finish suitable for commercial occupancy. 4. Purchase and installation of recessed aluminum floor mat in entry way. 5. Apply a clear polyaspartic protective topcoat with anti- slip additive over the polished concrete surface in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. 6. Finished floor shall be uniform in appearance and free from visible defects, stains, swirl marks, or inconsistencies. E. Vinyl Base Installation 1. Furnish and install new 6-inch resilient vinyl wall base throughout all flooring areas affected by the project. 2. Color shall be selected by the Owner from the manufacturer's standard offerings. 3. Install vinyl base in strict accordance with manufacturer requirements. 4. Provide all required adhesives, accessories, inside corners, outside corners, and transitions. F. Final Cleaning 1. Remove all project-related debris from the site. 2. Clean all finished surfaces. 3. Leave the work area ready for occupancy.
