Reference Number 0000390453 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Shafter is seeking submittals from a consultants to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. The City was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program. This grant will support the City's efforts to develop an Action Plan. The purpose of the Action Plan is to improve roadway safety by significantly reducing roadway fatalities and serious injuries through action plan development and implementation focused on all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and micromobility users. The Action Plan aims to improve roadway safety by developing a comprehensive action plan based on a Safe System Approach and implementing projects and strategies that significantly reduce transportation-related fatalities and serious injury accidents for all road users.
