File No.: 791/25336.GSA Remove existing asphalt shingle and underlayment to deck. Remove metal roof edging. Inspect deck and identify all rotted or damaged sheathing. Replace rotted or damaged sheathing with like material. Furnish and install new 8" (galv. or alum) drip edge along eaves and rakes. Furnish and install ice and water shield along eaves (3' or 6' min.), rakes (3' min.), and valleys (6' min.) Furnish and install new asphalt shingle roof with appropriate roof ventilation. Complete roofing using CertainTeed Landmark Shingles. Color selection by owner. Furnish and install step, counter, and pipe flashing as necessary, reconnect gutters and downspouts as required, and tie-in new shingle roof into existing flat roof. Contractor shall be responsible for plan review and construction permits. All roofing debris will be removed from the jobsite and recycled to the maximum extent possible. Debris will be cleaned up daily. Gutters will be cleaned at the end of the project. Magnetic rakes will be used around the building and landscaping. Contractor shall repair all lawn areas, pavement, and sidewalks damaged by the contractor during the roof replacement project. 2. Include 192 SF of deck replacement in base bid. 3.
