The project includes the front walkway and entry (335 sq. ft.], rear patio and walkways (670 sq. ft.), and apparatus driveways (2,040 sq. ft.) Front Walkway and Entry - 335 sq. ft. Rear Walkways and Patio Area - 670 sq. ft. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to: _ Saw cut, tear out, and remove existing concrete in designated areas _ Prepare sub-base and ensure proper compaction _ Install new concrete to the following specifications: o 6" thick slab for all walkway and patio areas o Minimum 6-bag mix, 4,000 psi concrete o Reinforced with #4 rebar, doweled into existing footing or foundation at 24" on center, minimum 30" length _ Install #4 rebar dowels (30" long) at 2' centers at all joints where new concrete meets existing concrete _ Provide expansion joints at all transitions to existing concrete _ Install saw-cut control joints per industry standards _ Contractor is responsible for all cleanup and removal of concrete and debris _ Obtain all required permits from the City of Eagle Mountain _ Apply a lifetime concrete sealer upon completion B. Apparatus Driveways - 2,040 sq. ft. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to: _ Saw cut, tear out, and remove existing concrete in designated driveway areas _ Prepare sub-base and ensure a minimum 6" compacted base o Base compaction must be inspected and approved by UFSA's Facility Manager prior to concrete placement _ Install new concrete to the following specifications: o 8" thick slab for apparatus drive paths o Minimum 6-bag mix, 4,000 psi concrete o Reinforced with a #4 rebar mat, approximately 18" on center, tied into existing concrete o Rebar installation to be inspected and approved by Facility Manager prior to pouring _ Install #4 rebar dowels (30" long) at 2' centers at all joints with existing concrete _ Provide expansion joints at all intersections with existing concrete _ Install saw-cut control joints per industry standards _ Contractor is responsible for all cleanup and removal of concrete and debris _ Obtain all required permits from the City of Eagle Mountain _ Apply a lifetime concrete sealer upon completion Coordination Requirements To ensure station operations are not disrupted: _ Maintain uninterrupted access for fire personnel and emergency vehicles _ Coordinate daily work schedules in advance with the UFSA Facility Manager _ Ensure clean, safe, and clearly marked work areas at all times _ Minimize dust, debris, and noise during working hours
